It didn’t ring a bell until I looked it up and there it was: “My foot’s getting hotter than a sweat-band in a fireman’s helmet.” Not sure yet what episode it was in, but once I find it, I’ll add it to Foghorn’s quote list.

Hello Kim, That doesn’t sound like it was in one of the original (28) Foghorn episodes. It could have been from a cameo in another cartoon. If I find it I’ll let you know.

Nice job, Dino! Two of my favorite words that have passed from the lexicon are hornswoggled and bambozzled, and I am confident that I first heard them from the mouth of Foghorn Leghorn when I was young. Do you know which cartoon they sprung from, and is there, I say is there a third synonym used by Foghorn besides flummoxed, which I am, son?
